Connery Koski is the UAV Operations Manager for Control Point Associates, Inc.  He has been involved in the land surveying industry for 12 years.  When he was a freshman at Bucks Country Technical High School, he gained interest in the profession during an exploratory program. Eager to learn more about land surveying, he selected the subject as his major and spent the next few years learning and working with his teacher as a rodman on weekends. Connery graduated from Bucks County Technical High School in 2011 and received the Outstanding Achievement Award; being ranked top in his class.

“The ability to exercise my passion for efficiency through innovation and technology, ultimately cutting costs and exceeding clients expectations, is what drives me.”

After graduation, he started his career by preparing plot plans, foundation, and final as-builts for the nation’s leading luxury home builder. While there, he saw a great need for 3D laser scanning and found ways to introduce it into everyday services. Wanting to continue utilizing the latest technology, Connery was drawn to Control Point Associates, Inc. due to our mobile LiDAR unit, the Pegasus:Two.

Connery joined Control Point Associates, Inc. in 2015 and immediately helped develop mobile LiDAR practices and procedures, allowing the company to utilize the service more frequently. Shortly after, he started using UAVs in his personal life, capturing photos and videos of hikes and the Philadelphia skyline and quickly realized the potential UAVs could bring to the survey industry. He spent nights and weekends testing and developing ways to use UAVs in existing and new services; ultimately forming the UAV division at Control Point Associates, Inc., which consists of 4 FAA Part 107 certified UAV pilots and is still growing. The UAV division provides aerial mapping, inspection, marketing, construction, and renewable energy services.
