Devon DeLuke started his career in the surveying industry in 2006 while studying for his Civil Engineering degree at Hudson Valley Community College.
During his time at the college, he took a few survey classes and pursued an internship preparing drawings with the New York State Department of Transportation.
Devon has worked on some exciting projects for clients such as the New York State Department of Transportation, Global Foundries,
New York City Department of Design and Construction, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, and several other Federal and State agencies.
One of Devon’s most interesting projects was the St. Patrick’s Church in Watervliet, NY. During this project, he worked on HABS drawings made from 3D scan data.
The drawings were used to create elevation views and blueprints documenting the historic building before it was demolished.
