Since 1980, Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation has owned and operated the Central Landfill. In order to determine the capacity utilized in the past year and how much capacity remains in the landfill, Control Point provided an aerial topographic survey of the approximately 5,000-acre site. Control Point’s field crew recovers previous points and then sets new points by utilizing GPS Survey Instruments.
